Fans are looking forward to the television comeback of Maricel Soriano in “MMK” this Saturday (Sep 23) with JC De Vera in an episode about a mother and her adopted son who are bound not by blood but by love.
“When I read the script, I cried a lot,” said Maricel in an interview with “TV Patrol,” “The story is so moving and it really touches the heart. “
The Diamond Star added that she was also moved by the lesson the episode is trying to impart to its viewers, “Let us not be ashamed of who we are, what we are, and where we come from. We have nothing else but our own names that is why we should take good care of it.”
Maricel’s last “MMK” episode was aired 14 years ago and she was last seen by Kapamilyas in the movie “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” back in 2013.
In the episode, Maricel plays Guily. Ever since she adopted the little boy from her niece, Guily (Maricel) has always treated Jayson as her own. It did not take long for Jayson to find out the truth about his identity after he noticed he was using a surname different from his parents’.
After knowing that his biological mother was still alive, Jayson grew up longing to meet her. Being a child out of wedlock, Guily fully understood what he was going through, so one day, she accompanied him to his mother Chona (Dimples Romana). Jayson’s much awaited moment, however, did not happen how he pictured it to be.
What happened when Jayson finally came face-to-face with Chona? How did the encounter affect his life?
Joining this upcoming episode are Lito Pimentel, Lui Villaraz, Menggi Cobarrubias, Louise Abuel, Raikko Mateo, Michael Roy Journales, Wynril Banaag, and Perry Escaño . Maricel, bibida muli sa “MMK”
Excited na ang fans sa television comeback ni Maricel Soriano sa gaganaping “MMK” episode ngayong Sabado (Sep 23), kung saan makakasama niya si JC De Vera para sa isang nakakaantig na kwento ng mag-inang higit pa sa dugo ang ugnayan.
“Nung binasa ko yung script. Iyak ako ng iyak sabi ko bakit kaya. Sobrang mabigat sa puso,” sabi ni Maricel sa kanyang panayam sa “TV Patrol.
Dagdag pa ng Diamond Star, mahalaga at talaga namang nakakaantig ang mensaheng nais iparating ng episode sa ma manonood.
“Huwag natin ikakahiya kung sino tayo, kung ano tayo, at kung ano ang pinanggalingan natin. Wala tayong kahit na ano kung hindi an ating sariling pangalan kaya huwagag itong dudungisan.”
Labing-apat na taon na ang nakakaraan ng huling bumida si Maria sa “MMK” at taong 2013 nang huli siyang mapanood sa Star Cinema movie a “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy.”
Sa kwento, gagampanan ni Maricel ang papel ni Guily. Bata pa lang ay minahal na ni Guily na parang tunay na anak si Jayson (JC). Hindi naman naging mailap ang katotohanan sa bata dahil oras na napansin nito na iba ang apelyido niya, agad ring inamin ni Guily na inampon niya ito mula sa kanyang pamangkin.
Simula noon, naging malakas ang hangarin ni Jayson na makita ang tunay na ina. Buong puso naman itong nauunawaan ni Guily dahil siya rin ay lumaking hiwalay sa tunay na pamilya bilang anak sa labas.
Kaya naman isang araw, nagpasya si Guily na tulungan si Jayson na hanapin ang tunay nitong nanay na si Chona (Dimples Romana).
