ABS-CBN afternoon programs win TV ratings…
ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon teleserye “All Of Me,” debuted strongly on Monday (August 31) with a national TV rating of 18.4%, making it the most watched afternoon teleserye nationwide, according to data from Kantar Media.
JM De Guzman’s major TV comeback triumphed with a six-point lead over its rival program, GMA’s “Buena Familia” (12.8%), and instantly made it to the top ten most watched programs nationwide that day.
“All Of Me” also took Twitter by storm on Monday as the show’s official hashtag, #AllOfMeAngSimula became a trending topic nationwide. The show also earned praises online as netizens expressed their delight on “All Of Me’s” beautiful and promising story.
Aside from “All Of Me,” other ABS-CBN afternoon programs also enjoyed higher TV viewership ratings and winning the whole afternoon block.
“Doble Kara” and “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita” beat their rival programs with 16.7% and 14.7%, respectively, compared to GMA’s “Half Sisters” (15.7%) and “Healing Hearts” (12.1%%).
ABS-CBN’s current affairs show “Mission Possible” (10.6%), on the other hand, also rated higher than “Alisto!” (8.0%), while hit game show “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” hosted by Luis Manzano, scored 13.9% vs “Birth of a Beauty” with only 7.4 %.
