Get ready for a whole month full of surprises as the country’s number one noon time show, “It’s Showtime,” marks its seventh anniversary this October.
Last Saturday (October 1), “It’s Showtime” kicked off its celebration as the hosts gathered together girl group 4th Impact, dance group XB Gensan, shadow play group El Gamma Penumbra, and Journey vocalist Arnel Pineda to give viewers a taste of what they should anticipate from the celebration dubbed as “haPITOgether.”
This week, the nation’s most talented singers clash in the highly anticipated Quarter 3 semi-finals of “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”
Representing Metro Manila are Balla-dearest son of Baclaran Rufino Robles, Sis-pectacular Songtress of Makati Jennie Gabriel, and Virtual Effects Artistahin of Quezon City Christopher Rodrigueza.
Luzon semifinalists are likewise fighting for their place in the finals: the Super-Lolovable Singer of Rizal Antonio Sabalza and the ‘Unstoppable sa Galing’ of Bulacan Eumee Capile. The Bukid Boy Wonder of Negros Occidental, Noven Belleza, will be fighting alone for Visayas.
Meanwhile, gracing the “Showtime” stage once again in the second week of the month are the “It’s Showtime” champions who will once again impress the madlang people. Showcasing their talent and charm are the grand winners from “Magpasikat”, “Kalokalike,” “That’s My Tomboy,” “I Am PoGay,” “Funny One,” “Mini Me,” “Stars on 45,” and other competitions in the past seven years.
Not to be outdone are the hosts of the program who will pull out all the stops in the third week of October to entertain viewers in their annual contest “Magpasikat Week.”
Watch out for the spectacular performances of Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Amy Perez, Joey Marquez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jhong Hilario, and Kuya Kim Atienza, together with the Hashtags and Girltrends, as they pour their heart and skills into the “best performance of their lives.”
Meanwhile, ‘solid Showtimers’ should tune in to the show in the last week of October for more surprises.

Humanda na para sa pangmalakasan at pangmatindihang month-long na pagdiriwang ng numero unong noontime show sa bansa, ang “It’s Showtime” sa hatid nitong mga sorpresa ngayong Oktubre bilang pagdiriwang ng ikapito nitong anibersaryo.
Noong Sabado (Oktubre 1), nagsimula na ang pagdiriwang sa pagtitipon-tipong ng lahat ng hosts ng programa kasama ang girl group na 4th Impact, dance group na XB Gensan, shadow play group na El Gamma Penumbra, at ang vocalist ng Journey na si Arnel Pineda upang ipasilip ang isang buong buwan ng umaapaw na kasiyahan na pinamagatang “haPITOgether.”
Sa unang linggo, bakbakan ng matitinding boses ang maghahanap sa paghaharap-harap ng anim na semi-finalists para sa Quarter 3 semi-finals ng “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

Sa linggong ito, abangan ang pagbabalik ng champions ng “Magpasikat”, “Kalokalike,” “That’s My Tomboy,” “I Am PoGay,” “Funny One,” “Mini Me,” “Stars on 45,” at iba pang patimpalak sa nakalipas na pitong taon.
Hindi naman magpapahuli ang hosts ng programa dahil sa ikatlong linggo ng Oktubre, muli nilang ibibigay ang kanilang ibubuga sa taunang kumpetisyon nilang “Magpasikat Week.”
Kaya naman abangan ang inihandang pasabog at groupings nina Anne Curtis, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Billy Crawford, Karylle, Amy Perez, Joey Marquez, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ryan Bang, Jhong Hilario, at Kuya Kim Atienza sa kanilang paghahandog ng kanilang puso at galing para sa “best performance of their lives.” Magiging kakampi rin nila ang Hashtags at Girltrends sa mga ito.
Wala ring uuwing luhaan dahil aapaw ang mga surpresang hatid ng programa para sa solid Showtimers sa huling linggo ng buwan.
