Balik-KBO ang 49th Box-Office Entertainment Awards Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema na sina Vice Ganda, Pia Wurtzbach, at Daniel Padilla sa highest grossing film ng taong 2017 na “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” ngayong Sabado (July 28) at Linggo (July 29).
Sa pelikulang idinirehe ni Joyce Bernal, kailangang protektahan ni Emy (Vice) ang kanyang nakababatang kapatid na si Chino (Daniel) sa gitna ng pagkawala ng kanyang memorya. Sa pagdating ng mga kampon ng dilm, unti-unting maalala ni Emy ang kanyang tunay na katauhan bilang isang superhero na si Gandarra.
Ngunit isang panganib ang nagbabadya sa pamilya ni Emy sa pagpatak ng ika-21 taong kaarawan ni Chino na magpapalabas ng kanyang kapangyarihan at magiging kilala sa pangalang, Rapiddo. Mas gugulo pa ang kanilang mundo sa pagdating ni Kweenie (Pia) sa kanilang buhay.

The 49th Box Office Entertainment Awards Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema Vice Ganda, Pia Wurtzbach, and Daniel Padilla join force once more as KBO brings the highest grossing of 2017, “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” this Saturday (July 28) and Sunday (July 29).
Directed by Joyce Bernal, the MMFF film tells the story of rag maker, Emy who tries to protect his brother Chino (Daniel), despite suffering from amnesia. As evil forces start to bring catastrophe on Earth, Emy remembers his real identity as the superhero Gandarra.
However danger arises as Chino turns 21, his power of speed emerges and becomes the superhero, Rapiddo. Trouble follows as Kweenie (Pia) enters the scene.
Aside from the Star Cinema film, other movies returning this weekend are “Haunted Forest,” “ Fallback,” “ Camp Sawi,” and “Mano Po 7: Chinoy.”
